Metsys will deliver a complete solution based on Siemens PLC’s and ABB Drive systems for a High speed Bar mill comprising of 14 continous stands , a 6 stand Block , Braking Pinch rolls and twin Channels . the plant is scheduled to be started up in July 2010.
Repeat Order from Global Smelters for their Garret Line , After the successful operation of the wire rod mill delivered and commissioned in Mid 2008, Customer placed an order on Metsys for integrating a Garret line into the existing mill .
Inertia Steel (Jayswal Neco) further cemented its relationship with Metsys by integrating the shears for their Rolling mills ( Bar mill and Wire rod mil) into the control system provided by Metsys . With this Inertia steel stands to get benefited from an Integrated control system ensuring the reliability and consistency of operations.
Level 2 systems for Cold rolling mill Complex in Vietnam to cater to the functionality of production scheduling , set point management , reporting and tracking of coils . This Level 2 system is also delivered with an interface to the higher level Business systems . This was the third order received from CMI for such systems .
Metsys Put into operation a Plate Mill for Global Smelters . The main targets for the revamp to upgrade the existing Hardware and Software and run the mill in Automatic mode .
Successful startup of the a bar mill for Vizag profiles , comprising of twin strand rolling , 18 stand continous mill , Divide shear , tail braking pinch rolls, Cooling bed and bundling station. This mill is equipped with High performance Siemens S7 based control systems , Drive systems from ABB and WinCC based HMI including a powerful tool for set point management and reporting .
